Schedule

12-hour shifts with varied start times: 5 AM, 7 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM. Weekend work is required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong emergency room experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include providing critical care to patients with a wide range of conditions, from trauma and STEMI to strokes and falls.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document medical histories
• Administer medications and IV therapies as required
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
• Triage and manage patients presenting with acute medical issues
• Utilize clinical judgment to perform necessary procedures

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Emergency Nursing
• Current California RN license
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic experience required
