Schedule

Shifts are scheduled for 36 hours a week, comprised of 3x12-hour day shifts, including weekends, call, and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in both Stepdown and Floor units, catering to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be proficient in nursing responsibilities including the titration of drips and management of various patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in a Stepdown and Floor setting, adhering to best practices and protocols.
• Titrate drips in the Stepdown unit and manage Heparin gtts on the Floor.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members and contribute to patient care planning.
• Monitor patients' conditions and interpret telemetry strips, ensuring timely interventions when necessary.
• Supervise and mentor nursing aides and junior staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Experience with MedSurg, Cardiac, IDDM, COPD, Trauma, Ortho, ENT, and Urology patients preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage stress in high-pressure situations.
