MRI Technologist

Schedule

This position involves three 12-hour shifts or two 12-hour shifts combined with two 8-hour shifts. Shifts are scheduled between 06:00 - 18:30 or 08:00 - 20:30, with rotating weekends. It will require availability for call until 9 PM during weekends, and no overnight shifts are expected.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures and assist in patient care across a variety of settings. The technologist will work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and ensure the quality of images produced.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort during examinations.
• Administer contrast media as required for specific imaging studies.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience preferred.
• Active ARRT MR certification required.
• ARRT R certification is also necessary.
• Certifications must be current at the time of submission.
• Active PA or Compact RN license required at submission.
