Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position with a day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a daily caseload of up to 70 patients, and demonstrate proficiency in various infusion therapies. The RN will play a critical role in managing patient care and delivering high-quality treatments in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and reactions to treatments to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Cerner electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in oncology and infusion therapy.
• Current BLS certification is required; OCN preferred.
• Active RN license in the state or a compact state license.
• Knowledge and experience in external beam therapy and use of imaging technologies such as CBCT/kV/mV.
