Job Description

The role requires a strong Cardiac ICU experience, specific to advanced cardiac devices and conditions such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, and TAVR. This position entails caring for cardiac and medical intensive care patients, as well as overflow patients from step-down units.

Responsibilities

• Manage and care for patients with advanced cardiac devices.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer post-cardiac surgery and pre/post cardiac catheterization care.
• Provide support and management for ventilated patients and CRRT.
• Conduct sheath removal procedures as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac ICU experience, preferably in CCU or CVICU.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Ability to manage arterial lines, blood products, and other critical interventions.
