Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Unit

Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in general surgery and be able to provide high-quality patient care to various age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience, and the unit accepts first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients
• Assist with and monitor various surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a surgical setting
• Current RN License (either valid Oklahoma or Compact state license)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Previous charge experience is preferred
