Neuro Tele RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, with 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neuro Tele RN to join our team. This position involves providing quality care to patients in a telemetry unit, focusing on neuroscience-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients with neurological conditions, including TIA, stroke, and post-neurosurgery care.
• Administer medications and manage peripheral lines.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse with charge experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in a telemetry or neuro stepdown unit is preferred.
• Must have a compact license in hand at submission.
• Current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS).
