Job Description

We are seeking experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurses for a critical care role focusing on direct open-heart recovery. Candidates should have a solid background in managing complex cardiovascular patients, including those on Impella and balloon pump therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to CVICU patients.
• Monitor patient progress and administer necessary treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams during patient care interventions.
• Utilize advanced cardiovascular care techniques and equipment.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding pre- and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience with recent practice within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (BLS, ACLS).
• Experience with Impella and balloon pump management preferred.
• Candidates must provide a driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred, but not required.
