Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Schedule

This is a 36-hour scheduled position with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There are 24 hours guaranteed per week, subject to cancellation of one shift by the facility.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to function independently in a challenging atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care to patients in the emergency department.
• Perform triage assessments and manage patient flow.
• Collaborate with medical staff in developing treatment plans.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist in life-saving procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Current state nursing license with no adverse actions.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from approved vendors.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
