Registered Nurse - PCU/IMCU (Nights)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) caring for a cardiac population. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 2 years documented experience in a similar-sized facility. This role involves managing patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain, while administering cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors. The nurse may also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care in a PCU/IMCU setting.
• Administer cardiac medications and drips appropriately.
• Provide care for patients with varying levels of acuity in telemetry beds.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working 12-hour shifts, 3 nights a week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
