Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) provides high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency setting. Ideal candidates will possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to evaluate, plan, implement, and document patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients effectively to determine needed care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and care in medical records.
• Comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Prior emergency department experience is highly desirable.
