Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patient safety and compassion. The role requires quick decision-making and effective communication with the healthcare team, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments and reassessments of patients.
• Administer medications and manage IV starts.
• Provide wound care and splinting as required.
• Engage in documentation and oversight of emergency medical technicians (EMT-Ps).
• Rapidly identify and manage conditions such as Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
• Experience with airway management and ventilators preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills essential.
