Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. No on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. This role is essential in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients requiring emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency department.
• Evaluate and assess patient needs and implement appropriate medical interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Perform various procedures including splinting, EKGs, and airway support.
• Participate in behavioral health de-escalation and trauma assistance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications.
• Experience in emergency care, trauma, and behavioral health is preferred.
• Proficiency with Meditech is a plus.
