Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (09:00 - 17:30), with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. This role requires adherence to the highest standards of safety and quality assurance procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sterilization of medical equipment and surgical instruments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes.
• Assist in the assembly and packaging of surgical trays.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines according to ANSIA/AAMI, AORN, and Title 22 standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CBSPD).
• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds, tolerate prolonged standing, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and cleaning protocols.
