Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

This position offers a 10-hour day shift, with a schedule of 10 days on and 4 days off. Weekend and holiday call is required, and there is no block scheduling.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Operating Room settings. The ideal candidate will have previous travel experience, particularly in a Level 1 trauma environment. High competency in neuro and vascular procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Assist in surgical procedures, particularly in neuro and vascular specialties.
• Respond to emergencies and provide comprehensive patient assessments.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Proven experience in the Operating Room, especially in Level 1 trauma settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and applications such as Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard.
• High rating on skills checklist is required.
