Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN specializing in Behavioral Health to provide exceptional patient care for a 120-bed geriatric psychiatric unit. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting patients with diverse mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health admissions and discharges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care.
• Utilize equipment including Welsh Allen VS machines and EMR systems (Meditech).
• Demonstrate strong behavioral health inpatient experience.
• Participate in lead RN resource classes and training.
• Float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or Calm Every Storm certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of current behavioral health experience is required.
