Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend and holiday work required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including the management of dysrhythmias and use of rapid response/code teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in telemetry, oxygen administration, and peripheral line care.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams effectively.
• Administer oxygen and manage non-invasive airway techniques.
• Conduct peripheral line care and management.
• Implement isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg/Tele experience.
• NY State RN License required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Successful completion of telemetry assessment on orientation day.
