Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (36 guaranteed hours per week, with every other weekend rotation)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Rehabilitation to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key player in providing care for patients recovering from various conditions, including strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and other multi-trauma cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a rehabilitation setting.
• Monitor patient progress and record vital signs and changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation programs and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in Virginia.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) or medical-surgical setting.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is a must.
