Cath Lab Technician - Electrophysiology Specialty

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with potential weekend and after-hours on-call shifts.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician is responsible for assisting in the performance of imaging studies within the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role requires a combination of technical skills and clinical knowledge to effectively support the Cardiologist during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cardiologist in performing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Scrub and monitor procedures by recording vital information and observations.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and judgment in cardiology imaging studies.
• Float between campuses as needed, providing flexibility and support across different locations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3-5 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting with a focus on Electrophysiology.
• Current RCIS certification.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• AHCA compliance is required prior to start for all travelers.
