Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical ICU

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00).

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs. This role requires an ability to manage patient flow, assess and monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:2.
• Perform advanced patient assessments and provide direct care to critically ill patients.
• Administer specified medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and progress in the Epic charting system.
• Manage complex medical equipment and perform necessary interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with medical-surgical ICU experience preferred.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is essential.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
