Emergency Room RN - Level I Trauma

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a Level I Trauma Center. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients with trauma and other critical conditions.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Utilize skills such as central line care, arterial line management, and blood product administration.
• Manage critical situations effectively, including trauma cases and respiratory care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Proficient in Epic charting system.
• Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers is preferred.
