Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with strong neuro experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will circulate all cases, particularly focusing on cardiac and transplant surgeries. The ideal RN will have broad service line experience, including cardiac and robotic procedures, and should be adept in a busy, high-acuity academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Circulate all surgical cases including neuro, spine, thoracic, and vascular.
• Assist in setting up operating rooms at night for next-day procedures.
• Manage any charge duties as required.
• Provide support for a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedic, general, GYN, URO, and plastics.
• Participate in a high acuity academic hospital environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as an RN, preferably in a neuro-focused role.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Ability to float within the hospital as necessary.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Prior charge experience is preferred, but not required.
