Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, day shift from 07:00 to 17:30. No weekends or major holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse with valid Chemotherapy Certification by ONS provider to join our dedicated team. As a key member of the GynOnc Infusion unit, you will deliver specialized care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, ensuring effective treatment and support in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and IV hydration, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine assessments including obtaining height, weight, and vital signs.
• Access Port-A-Cath using sterile technique and draw labs using central venous catheters or peripherally.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize patient care and improve patient experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Chemotherapy Certification from an ONS provider.
• Experience in chemotherapy administration and patient care.
• Ability to perform advanced nursing procedures such as IV hydration and lab draws.
