Occupational Therapist - Acute Rehabilitation

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation facility. This role involves providing individualized rehabilitation therapy to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses, addressing their specific needs and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapies and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress using electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist License.
• BLS Certification.
• Preferred 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation (IPR).
• Basic computer knowledge and effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
