Respiratory Therapist - 13 Week Contract

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with weekend rotation. No call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will hold current certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. The role requires excellent clinical skills and the ability to effectively manage respiratory care for both adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, including nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RRT credentials required.
• Current certifications for ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Prior experience in ICU, NICU, or PICU preferred.
