Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The shift is nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure the comfort and safety of patients.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Nurse licensure with a minimum of two years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Current certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS.
• Must have a permanent address greater than 50 miles from the facility.
