676A Sterile Processing - Instrument Technician

This position requires an 8-hour night shift, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Instrument Technician will be responsible for the sterilization and processing of surgical instruments to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. The role requires adherence to strict sterile techniques and protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation of sterilization procedures.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety policies.
• Inspect and maintain medical equipment as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in sterile processing.
• Preferred certifications: CRCST, CSPDT, or CASSPT.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Holiday Expectations

The candidate must be available to work 2 major holidays out of the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, as well as 1 minor holiday from the following: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
