Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Services

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8 hours (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM)

On-call with a 30-minute response required. Weekend and holiday availability is necessary.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Services team. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room and other surgical settings. This role includes caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Monitor patients pre-, during, and post-operative stages.
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in surgical or perioperative settings.
• Certification in BLS required; EPIC experience is essential.
• PA RN license in good standing.
• Ability to provide care for COVID patients is preferred.
