Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of NICU experience and must be comfortable providing care to neonates requiring advanced medical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to infants in a Level III or IV NICU.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Perform necessary procedures including blood/blood products administration, cardioversion, and defibrillation.
• Manage ventilator support and assess patients' respiratory needs.
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and assist in neonatal surgeries.
• Document patient care and treatment accurately in the electronic charting system (Epic preferred).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted).
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Experience with advanced NICU equipment such as CPAP, BiPap, and high-frequency vents.
