Day Shift: 5x8-Hour shifts, from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Ambulatory OR patient care. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality surgical assistance, including circulation and recovery of patients. The RN will be responsible for working effectively in a rural hospital setting and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and recover patients in the surgical department.
• Provide cardiac monitoring and respond to code situations as needed.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colonoscopy, and tonsillectomy.
• Ensure adherence to fire safety and other regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with respiratory services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience is required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Valid compact RN license must be in hand at submission.
• Endoscopy experience is required.
• Willingness to be on-call, including holidays and weekends, is mandatory.
