Job Description

The ICU RN will provide high-quality care to patients in the Cardiac ICU, as well as manage overflow from the Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, focusing primarily on cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and manage medical equipment for critically ill patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided in the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required; TNCC preferred but not required.
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity teaching and trauma facilities is preferred.
• No pending licenses accepted; compact licenses allowed.
