Registered Nurse - Variable Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, planning and implementing patient and family education. This role is responsible for assessing the needs of patients and initiating appropriate interventions.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for an individualized patient care plan.
• Develop and implement a plan of care that prescribes strategies to attain expected outcomes.
• Employ strategies to promote health and ensure a safe environment.
• Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice.
• Provide leadership in the professional practice setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associates degree, or Diploma.
• Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• 18 months of Registered Nurse experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
• 1 year of circulating experience.
• 1 year of scrub experience.

Schedule

This position requires variable day shifts with on-call responsibilities. Flexibility to cover all shifts is necessary.
