Physical Therapist - Acute Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift times start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, concluding between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Requires 1 weekend shift per month in addition to full-time hours, primarily Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will work within an acute care setting, responsible for conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions for a diverse patient population. This position focuses on cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic care, with a preference for candidates with vestibular experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational and speech therapists.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Sunrise Allscripts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Hampshire Physical Therapy License.
• BLS certification.
• Acute care experience required.
• Vestibular experience preferred but not mandatory.
