Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse with over 2 years of recent ICU experience. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of critical care nursing and the ability to manage complex patient cases effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Provide care for ventilated patients and administer continuous IV sedation.
• Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY RN License in hand.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with AllScripts charting system is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
