Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Minimum of 4 per month

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit. The successful candidate will provide care for adult and geriatric patients, focusing on surgical recovery and telemetry monitoring. This position requires a strong team player with a positive attitude who can work effectively in a resource-limited environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions in a surgical telemetry setting.
• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist in other units when necessary to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a medical/surgical or telemetry unit.
• Experience in a stepdown unit preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.
