Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated PICU Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care. The nurse will need to be adaptable, as floating to the Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) may be required. The facility has been experiencing high patient census, and there may be occasional needs for the traveler to float depending on the current situation. The preferred candidate will be fully vaccinated and prepared to work minimum holiday and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Float to the CICU as needed based on staffing and census.
• Monitor and maintain patient health and stability.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of PICU experience with exposure to CICU.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Valid RN license (Single State OH or Multi State License).
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
