Registered Nurse / ED Case Manager

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30, working three 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse / ED Case Manager will work within the Care Management department, providing case management services in a non-clinical administrative capacity. The role includes supporting an average daily census of approximately 200 patients, focusing primarily on adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Milliman Guidelines for concurrent review and admission criteria evaluation.
• Engage in discharge planning to ensure appropriate patient transitions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for effective care management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of RN Case Management experience in an acute hospital setting is required.
• Maryland or compact RN license is required upon submission.
• Experience in admission criteria review, concurrent review, and discharge planning is mandatory.
• Charting experience with Cerner is required.
