Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients on a telemetry unit, working collaboratively with a team to ensure optimal health outcomes. This position will require floating within the facility as necessary and a commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a telemetry setting with ratios of 1:4-1:8.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
• Utilize electronic charting systems (Epic) for documentation.
• Participate in team nursing and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
• Current RN license in hand.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
