Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical RN will provide direct nursing care for general medical and surgical patients, including those undergoing short stay procedures, orthopedic, and stroke care. The role also involves caring for patients on remote telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EKGs and IV insertions
• Administer medications and perform Foley insertions
• Monitor and document vital signs and assessments
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI)
• Conduct point-of-care testing, including blood glucose monitoring

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
