Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional care in a High Risk Obstetric Unit (HROB) while floating to various nearby hospitals as needed. The HROB unit consists of 16 rooms, caring primarily for early inductions, antepartum patients, and those on continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for antepartum and high-risk obstetric patients.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Float to lower-volume hospitals based on staffing needs, maintaining scope of practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2.5 years of nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Active New Jersey nursing license at the time of submission.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.
