Operating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a rotating schedule with 3 × 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. The shifts will include days, evenings, and nights, and may require weekend work on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Call is also required, with a response time of 30 minutes.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room, and ideally 3 years. The candidate must have Level 1 Trauma experience for at least 1 year out of the last 3 years and a minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience within the last 3 years.

The role does not require scrubbing, but the candidate should have strong proficiency in various specialties, including:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Neurosurgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Trauma Surgery
• Robotic Surgery (DaVinci, Cardiac and Drive machine)
• Transplant Surgery (not a hard stop)

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience, with a preference for 3 years
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience in the last 3 years
• A minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience in the last 3 years
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
