Registered Nurse - ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 × 12 hr shifts per week with a total of 36 hours. Weekend and holiday shifts are required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU to join our dedicated team. The RN will be responsible for providing critical care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and support.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive care for patients post-Open Heart surgery.
• Provide care for patients utilizing advanced cardiac devices such as Impella and IABP.
• Monitor post-operative conditions for patients following craniotomy and laminectomy procedures.
• Administer and monitor patients on EVD/ICP, lumbar drain, and CRRT therapy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license and BLS certification required.
• Experience in an ICU setting with competencies in the use of Impella, IABP, and CRRT.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
• Must comply with Flu and COVID-19 vaccine requirements, with medical or religious declinations accepted.
