MRI Technologist Position

Schedule

This position requires availability on Thursdays and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures on both inpatients and outpatients. The role involves working primarily at our Cortland Campus, an outpatient facility, as well as at our Main Campus, where a combination of outpatient and inpatient exams takes place. Technologists will be expected to perform both contrast and non-contrast exams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans in accordance with prescribed protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment following safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid state licensure for MRI technologists.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred.
• Experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings is advantageous.
• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
