Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

Schedule

Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with weekend and holiday shifts as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care in a medical-surgical tele unit with a primary focus on pulmonary patients. Responsibilities include administering medications, managing patient care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires a commitment to working on major holidays and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with a range of medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required; medical/religious exemptions are allowed.
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
