Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients dealing with mental health issues. The role requires adaptability, as nurses will float between various units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and recognize mental health conditions as illnesses.
• Provide care for patient populations ranging in age from 18-99.
• Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation and record-keeping.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs.
• Participate in CPI training within the first 30 days of employment.
• Ensure compliance with required certifications and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Experience in psych or detox settings is preferred.
