Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

This position is for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical, you will provide essential patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help manage a diverse patient population while ensuring adherence to care standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Start IVs, insert foley catheters, and NG tubes.
• Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to their needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and deliver quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with at least one travel assignment completed.
• Current certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS required.
• Ability to float to inpatient rehab or ER to assist with tasks as needed.
