Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team. The RN will be responsible for providing excellent patient care to oncology patients in a 21-bed unit, currently catering to a census of 8-12 patients. The role involves close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver specialized care and support during critical treatment phases.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments.
• Monitor and assess patient health and progress.
• Perform necessary procedures, including blood and electrolyte replacement.
• Maintain accurate medical records using the Meditech EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with unit guidelines and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Oncology nursing experience is required; Hematology-Oncology background preferred
• Chemotherapy certification is a plus
