MRI Technologist - 12 Hour Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 16 to 26-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shift, requiring flexibility with scheduling including 1-2 weekends per month and a minimum of every other weekend.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards, ensuring quality patient care and service.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the medical team to provide optimal patient care.
• Document and report results accurately.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MRI Technologist license required.
• MR advanced licensure required.
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment is essential.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of MRI tech experience is required.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
