Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel RN to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly in dysrhythmia recognition and managing critical drips. This role requires quick decision-making and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in a Progressive Care Unit.
• Active compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience are required.
• Preferred: Experience with pre-post cardiac catheterization and pacer patient care.
