Registered Nurse - Medical Telemetry

Day shifts; 12 hours, 3 days a week.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a 32-bed unit specializing in adult and older adult trauma patient care. The position includes administration of Heparin drips and all acute medications as ordered, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for trauma patients in a telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio.
• Administer medications and manage patients on Heparin drips.
• Utilize specialty equipment including gait belts and geriatric chairs.
• Perform assessments and document using EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Documented medical telemetry experience is a must.
• Checklist verification required with application.
• Prior NICHE training is a plus.
